The development of institutions in Somalia has led to an increased role of specialized agencies in law enforcement. These agencies are entrusted with regulatory and enforcement duties, often requiring them to investigate and, in some cases, prosecute offenders. Many legal frameworks empower these institutions to enforce compliance, appoint inspectors, and maintain legal records. To effectively execute these responsibilities, enforcement officers, legal clerks, and inspectors need essential legal knowledge and practical skills.
This training program is designed to equip law enforcement officers with fundamental legal knowledge and essential skills in investigation, legal documentation, and courtroom procedures. The course aims to enhance participants’ capabilities in handling legal records, conducting investigations, and presenting evidence in court.
